The Intel® Q45 Express Chipset, when combined with the Intel® Core™2 processor family, delivers innovative capabilities and energy-efficient performance for business platforms. Delivering industry-leading advancements in both security and manageability, this chipset is designed to support Intel® Core™2 processor with vPro™ technology.

The new technologies featured in the Intel Q45 Express chipset are an Intel® Trusted Platform Module (Intel® TPM) and enhancements to Intel® Active Management Technology release 5.0 which include: Remote Alerts, secured access in Microsoft* NAP* environments, Access Monitor, Fast Call for Help, and Remote Scheduled Maintenance.
